The Proud Boys and Western chauvinism have gotten a lot of attention this week. From the controversy in Canada to Trump’s epic speech in Poland.
But in all the this controversy, Western chauvinism has been defined and presented to mainstream world.
Tucker Carlson's opening segment on Trump's Poland speech reiterates what I said yesterday about the struggle we face when half the country hates their own civilization:
As a person living in the Western world, it should not be a bizarre event for the leader of the Western world to talk about how our values and civilization are the best the world has seen. We live in the safest, most innovative, most fair, most clean society the world has ever seen, but for some reason to be proud of these simple facts is taboo.
What was moderate, normal and boring 20 years ago, or said by famous Democrats like JFK even further back in history, is now considered extreme, fascist, and racist by the progressive left.
Luckily, we have a President who is tired of apologizing for creating the modern world and ready to meet the challenges that we face.
President Trump explains Western chauvinism:
Last week 5 members of the Proud Boys attended what appeared to be an anti-Canada protest on Canada Day to have a conversation and as a result they all lost their jobs in the Canadian military – yeah it turns out Canada does have a military and apparently love of country is forbidden if you are a member.
The video of this ideological clash has made the rounds on the web and has been a focal point of Canadian news for a few days. While my fellow Proud Boys are being made out to be monsters, it was one of the politest exchanges of ideas I’ve seen in politics in a while. Their voices stayed calm and low, they asked some interesting questions, made a few points about their beloved General Cornwallis, and left when they were asked to leave. No violence. No physical altercations. The only true hostility came from a butch looking, aggressive woman, with very triggering war paint on her face who started using profanity and entering one of the PBs personal space, to which he politely turned his back to de-escalate the situation (that happens in the background around 1:29). That same woman was holding an upside down, vandalized Canadian flag which really helps illustrate how this was DEFINITELY some type of sacred indigenous people ceremony and not a political event at all.
These PBs might as well just showed up and started beating everyone with a bat though because if you have conservative ideas the media will hold you with that level of disdain anyway. For this conversation, these men are probably going to be fired and will face trial for hate crimes.
A news story so funny you'd think it was a headline at the Onion. The SJW war on fun and language continues.
